Master Control/Production Assistant

WDHN has an opening for a part-time Master Control Operator/Production Assistant. Position requires evening/weekend hours. The ideal candidate will have one year experience in the broadcast industry. Training maybe considered for a candidate with less experience who possesses strong computer and technology skills. Multi-Media Journalist

WDHN-TV, the ABC affiliate in Dothan, AL, is seeking a multi-media journalist to join our staff.

A degree in broadcast journalism or practical on-the-job experience is mandatory. The person selected must possess strong writing skills and be able to "tell" the story to our viewers.

The person selected must have strong computer skills, be able to work well with limited supervision, and have a broad understanding of the commercial news business. The ability to work across platforms is necessary.

A good driving record, pre-employment drug screen, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds are necessary.
