Mrs. Nell Fulford, a resident of Hartford, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, after a long illness. She was 86.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Tommy Cumbie and the Rev. Charles McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive family and firends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Bottoms Garden Chapel in Hartford.
Flowers will be accepted or a memorial contribution may be made to the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, Attn: Church Treasurer, 4844 County Road 41, Hartford, AL 36344.
Mrs. Fulford was born April 10, 1921, in Geneva County, to James Cleveland and Lena "b" McEachern. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulford was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Taze; three brothers, Jack, Sibert and Bill McEachern; and one sister, Mildred Smith.
She is survived by four sons, Taze (Donna) Fulford of Tuscaloosa, Wayland "Mack" (Mary Ann) Fulford of Hartford, the Rev. Russell (Molly) Fulford of Calvert and Winton (Freida) Fulford of Hartford; her sister, Merrie Hollis, Panama City Beach, Fla.; her four grandchildren, Taze III, Amanda, Wayland and Josh; four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Kurt Kraft, Hartford Rescue Squad and her caregivers, Margaret Fulford, Linda Shields and Emily Wilkerson.
