Scott Edward Cripple, 36, was chosen to meet his heavenly Father on Dec. 2, 2007. His life was taken in an automobile accident in Prattville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Hart and Isom Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. The body will lie in-state at the church Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
Scott enjoyed the outdoors where he was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest love was for his two daughters, Lauren Ashley Cripple and Loghan Brooke Cripple of Skipperville. His greatest happiness was found while spending time with his family.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Cripple of Millbrook and Charles St. Cin of Ariton.
He leaves behind his mother and step-father, Sharon and Randall Silver of Ariton; his father, Douglas Cripple and close friend, Bettye Jacobs, of Montgomery; his grandmothers, Wilma St. Cin of Ariton and Louise Samson of Elmore. Scott is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Christy Cripple, Brad and Abby Cripple; and nieces, Hayden and Hannah Burns, all of Prattville. Scott had several uncles and aunts, Gary St. Cin, Mark and Shari St. Cin, all of Wetumpka, Sammy and Debbie Cripple, Bobby Joe and Shirley Swindle of Montgomery, Jeff and Valerie St. Cin of Ariton. Cousins left behind are Brad and Miranda Perkins, Eva Myers, all of Kansas, Justin St. Cin, Jessica, Eric, and Taylor St. Cin, Lindsey and Haley Johnson, Stevie Swindle and Sandy Kelly, all of Wetumpka, Hunter and Dalton St. Cin of Ariton, Summer and Frances Cripple of Montgomery.
Scott will be remembered for his beautiful smile and loving ways.
