Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Louise Hutto, age 86, of Eufaula, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Kent
Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. Hospice Chaplain Tim Stevenson will officiate and burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery with Kent Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. Mrs. Hutto died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at her home after an extended illness.
Born Aug. 12, 1921, in Henry County, Mrs. Hutto was the daughter of the late Shellie and Mary Trawick Smith. Her son, William Thomas Hutto Sr., preceded her in death. Mrs. Hutto had lived in Barbour County since 1943. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and had worked with Superior Pecan Company seasonally for approximately 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Madison "Tim" Hutto, Eufaula; three grandsons, William Thomas "Bill" Hutto Jr., Auburn, Christopher Samuel "Chris" Hutto, Wetumpka, and Joseph Alex Hutto, Eufaula; four sisters, Inez Bailey, Abbeville, Mary Kathcryn Wilkerson, Lowndesboro, Bobbie Sue Westbrook and Dorothy Smith, both of Texasville; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Hutto will be held Tuesday evening, Nov. 27, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Kent Funeral Home in Eufaula.
