Mrs. Velma R. Miles of Enterprise died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007. She was 88. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Meadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Kerry Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Miles is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Roy Reeves, Enterprise; son and daughter-in-law, Winford and Dorothy Miles, Montgomery; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. William Searcy of Providence Funeral Home, (334) 393-2273, is in charge of arrangements.
