Mr. Rex A. Granger, a resident of Millbrook, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at his residence. He was 70.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, from Millbrook First United Methodist Church with the Rev. June Jernigan officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens.
The family will accept flowers, or memorial contributions may be made in his memory to either Millbrook First United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
Mr. Granger was a member of Millbrook First United Methodist Church. He was also a 1956 graduate of Cottonwood High School and a 1961 graduate of Troy University.
Mr. Granger was preceded in death by his parents, Ulas and Leona Ray Granger, and brother, Roland Granger, of Cottonwood.
Mr. Granger is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patty Tinney Granger of Millbrook; sons, Brett Granger (Lisa) of Millbrook, Scott Granger (Pam) of West Point, N.Y., Derek Granger (Lori) of Chesapeake, Va.; grandchildren, Kyle Granger, Megan Granger and Patrick Granger.
Pallbearers will be Michael Tinney, J.T. Tinney, Jab Brown, Darren McCarter, Rick Warrick, Mark Knight, Chris Barkley, and Jim Kight.
Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, (334) 285-7442, is in charge of arrangements.
