Mr. Gordon Forest Smith

Mr. Gordon Forest Smith of Geneva passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007. He was 69. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Indian Hill in Bushnell, Fla., with Brewer and Son Funeral Home, 1190 S. Broad St., Brooksville, Fla., directing. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva, Friday, Nov. 16, from 6 until 8 p.m. and at Brewer and Son Funeral Home Sunday, Nov. 18, from 6 until 8 p.m. Mr. Smith was born July 1, 1938, in Elwood, Ind., to the late Charles and Eva Evans Smith. He was owner and operator of Makin Bakin Ranch Meat Company from which he was retired. He loved old cars and had won many first place awards. Survivors include his wife, Bea Smith of Geneva; one daughter, Becky Edwards of Dothan; four sons, David Smith, Bernard and wife, Martina Smith, all of Nobleton, Fla., Kenneth Smith of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gordon Glen Smith of Bushnell, Fla.; two stepchildren, Jeffery Tillotson of Atlanta, Ga., and Heidi Hall of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
