Mrs. Lillian C. Bruce, a 36-year resident of Daleville,passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was 85.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.
Mrs. Bruce was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Newark, N.J., to the late William and Mary E. Dowd Brill. She was an art teacher at Dauphin Junior High School in Enterprise, having a volume of the yearbook dedicated to her. She was an independent art contractor at Fort Rucker for 20 years and loved to travel the world.
Survivors include her son, Douglas, Cary, N.C.; two daughters, Deborah Patterson, Lake George, Colo., Karen Bruce, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, Samantha, Colin and Gregory Bruce.
