John Paul Kelley of Court Street, Slocomb passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at the family residence following a brief illness. He was 77.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Slocomb with Rev. Dan Raley, Rev. David Tinsley and Rev. Larry Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The body will be placed into the church one hour before service time.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, P.O. Box 428, Slocomb, Al., 36375.
