Jason Lamar Adkins, 26, of Bascom, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
Born in Mobile, Jason was a life long resident of Jackson County, Fla., and a graduate of Malone High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Adkins. Survivors include his mother, Helen Adkins of Bascom, Fla.; one sister, Ceritha Land and husband, Matt, of Bascom, Fla.; three nieces, Cailyn Haight, Taylor Land and Katie Land, and other extended family.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Bascom Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Grove Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Maddox Chapel.
