Mrs. Hazel Marie Rusher died Thursday October 25, 2007 in Dale Medical Center Ozark, Alabama. She was 88 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday from Ozark Praise and Worship with Pastor Timothy Burgess officiating; her body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Ozark, with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. Family will receive friends during these hours. Mrs. Rusher attended Travecca Bible College and was a licensed Evangelist with House of Prayer Tabernacle in Indiana. Her overseer was Leon Baker. Mrs. Rusher traveled the United States and Mexico doing missionary work Mrs. Rusher shared her faith with everyone she met. In here younger years she worked for Zaryers Co. as a district manager. She also wrote many songs and played many instruments. We all remember how she would play the piano. She had magical fingers that were anointed from the Lord. She was a vocalist and sang on the radio for five years. She had an amazing gift for poetry. She was a true lover of people. Wherever she went she left friends behind that always kept in touch. She was cherished by her children, adored by her grandchildren, and admired by her God children. Her memories will live on in our hearts and stories for years to come. Her revelation knowledge of Gods word was spread to all in her loving words and actions. We love you and we will see you again dear mom. She is survived by two daughters, Naomi Marie Bryson of Franklin, ind., Linda Strength of Ozark; a son, Chester M. Rusher of Ozark; a sister, Barbara Tate of South Carolina; three brothers, Owen Campbell of Indiana, Allen Campbell and Paul Campbell, both of Florida, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
