Thomas Clifford Phipps passed away Oct. 24, 2007, at home. He was 57.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Tim Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The body will lie in-state at the church one hour prior to service time.
He was born June 4, 1950, to David and Marian Phipps.
He worked along side of his grandfather, James Phipps, then his father, David Phipps, for over 25 years. He was a beloved son and brother and we will cherish him always. He was sweet, kind, patient, unselfish and forgiving to everyone, no one was a stranger. He loved animals and they loved him. Children always played with him and he loved them. He always had a smile and a hug for you. He was kind, loving and gently with everyone. He loved to sing and play music on anything. He loved to look through different colors of papers or glass and see the world in a different way. He loved to act and pretend he was someone else. You would often find him dancing or skipping or just laughing. He was a protector to those he loved. He was our guardian angel always watching over us. He was very helpful to anyone in need. He was friend, a buddy and pal. He was a special son and helper to his mother. He was an angel living amongst us and he will forever be in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Phipps, and his grandparents, James and Tommie Phipps and Edward and Helen Mitchell.
