Rex D. McCall

Rex D. McCall of Elba, passed away, Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at his home. He was 67. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Mike Medley and Hubert McWaters officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Providence Funeral Home directing. Mr. McCall will be taken to the church one hour prior to funeral time. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, PO Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331 or Enterprise High School, 500 E. Watts St., Enterprise, AL 36330. Mr. McCall retired in April 2006 after 44 years of aviation service at Fort Rucker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Letty McCall, who passed away July 16, 2007. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Ford Pope, Gulf Shores, AL; his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Lisa McCall, Enterprise, AL; four grandsons, Caleb McCall-Pope, Gulf Shores, AL; Phillip Hutto, Enterprise; Ryon McCall, Enterprise; Jesse McCall, Enterprise; one brother, Lomax McCall, Enterprise; several nieces and nephews.
