Eucita Thornton Lott, of Geneva, passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, in Wiregrass Hospital, Geneva. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at the Maple Avenue Baptist Church, Geneva, with Dr. Mike Shirah and the Rev. Doug Green officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Providence Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Providence Funeral Home, Enterprise.
The body of Mrs. Lott will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorials may be made to Maple Ave. Baptist Church Building Fund, 1009 W. Maple Ave., Geneva, AL 36340.
Mrs. Lott was preceded in death by her parents, RA and Annie Wilks, and a sister, Magalene Chance and her husband, Carl Lott.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie and Jacky Bradley, Geneva; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Debra Thornton, Ponce DeLeon, Fla.; two step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Permelia and Maxie Searcy, Enterprise, Mitzi and Dr. William Watson, Dothan; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Horace Brabham, Enterprise; one brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Sandy Wilks, Panama City, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
