Mrs. Judith Elaine Powell of Cowarts, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 60.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coley Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Powell was born on Feb. 27, 1947, in Geneva County, to the late Albert Paul Holloway and Flaudie Williams.
Her parents, a younger brother, and an older sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Powell, of Cowarts, her step-mother, Dale Santora of Slocomb, and a step-brother, Jerry Holloway of Slocomb, as well as several nieces and nephews.
