Mrs. Louise Hardy Helms age 84 of Louisville died Tuesday morning, Oct. 2, 2007, in the Abbeville Health and Rehab Facility.
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Hardy Helms will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Pine Level Baptist Church. The Revs. Everett McGowin III and David Bradley Tew will officiate. The eulogy will be given by Kurt Pensinger. Interment will follow in the pine level church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Keahey Funeral Home in Clio. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice or Ozark Community Hospice.
Survivors include her beloved husband, James Helms, Louisville; daughters and sons-in-law, Alece (Eldridge) Barefield, Louisville, Sylvia (Wilmer) Dismukes, Troy; stepsons, Donnie Helms, Louisville, Jimmy Helms, Waycross, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willie T. (Patricia) Helms, Augusta, Ga., Clifton (Norma) Helms, Troy, Charlie (Kim) Helms, El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Tara Barefield, Louisville, Tavia (Kurt) Pensinger, Louisville, Stephen Barefield, Ozark, Donna (Everette) McGowin, Troy, Danni (Geoffrey) Spann, Troy; stepgrandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Helms, Traci Helms, Mallory Helms; great-grandchildren, Dylan Wells, Staley Pensinger, Ashton Spann, Hannah Spann, Quay McGowin, Chase McGowin, Molly Kate McGowin, Christopher Pensinger; great-stepgrandchildren, Chole and Adalyn Helms.
Pallbearers will include Geoffrey Spann, Sandy Tew, Douglas Helms, Quay McGowin, Chase Mcgowin, Kevin Helms, Stephen Barefield and Dylan Helms.
