Hazel Leanette Carnley, of Daleville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was 59.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Dr. Billy Joy officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Carnley will be taken to the church one hour before service time.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to: Hillcrest Baptist Church, 500 Alberta St., Enterprise, Ala., 36330, or American Cancer Society, in care of Linda Andress, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331.
Mrs. Carnley was preceded in death by her parents, Huey E. and Nell Thomas.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ted Carnley of Daleville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah Ann Carnley of Daleville, Dana Carol and William Scott Motley of Chancellor; a son and daughter-in-law Richard Ted and Janna Denise Carnley of Enterprise; three sisters Judy Dalrymple, Gloria Michard and Diane Hockensmith; a brother Huey Edison Thomas Jr.; seven grandchildren.
