Jerome Reeves died Sat., Sept. 22, 2007, in Dothan. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Sat., Sept. 29, 2007 at St. Peter AME Church, 401 Hollon St., Headland, with Pastor McCloud officiating. The body will be in the church one hour before service time. Visitation will be 6 - 7:30 P.M. Fri., Sept. 28, 2007, in the chapel at the funeral home. Survivors include a daughter, Bridgett Janae Fleming; mother, Rosie Mae Reeves; 6 brothers, Arthur (Alesia) Reeves, N. Brunswick, N.J., Bobby (Ola Mae) Reeves, Headland, Willie Fred Reeves, Dothan, James Earl Reeves and Loyce (Wynona) Reeves, Dothan; stepbrother Wayne (Gerdline) Reeves, Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Mary Ann Thornton, Linda Carol Thornton, Louise Johnson, Linda (Marvin) Galloway, all of Headland; one uncle, Willis Floyd, Headland; two aunts, Cora (Willie James) Williams, Newville, Bernice (Willie Earl) Smeady, Ozark; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
