Cedrick Tyrone Sheffield is a 2007 graduate of Northview High School. Reposing at Scotts Chapel Hill Mortuary, 103 W. Southport St. Family and friends may call today from 5-7 p.m. for visitation. He will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. Homegoing celebration will be Saturday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m., at South Park Avenue Church of Christ with Brother Reginald Jones delivering words of comfort. He will be laid to rest in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery under the directions of the caring staff of Scotts Chapel Hill Mortuary. He is survived his parents, Deborah Brooks and Darren Sheffield; sister, Tiffany Brooks; grandmothers, Dorothy Morris and Ophelia Sheffield; aunts and uncles, Wanda (Jon) Sorano, Willie (Brenda) Thomas, Davin Brooks, Juan Brooks, Robert Brooks, and Edward Sheffield; niece, Courtney Brooks; numerous great aunts and uncles, relatives and friends.
