Mrs. Sarah Margie Brown Evett died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Presbyterian Village Nursing Home. She was 81.
Graveside services will be at 2:45 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 1-2P.M. prior to the service. Everyone will reassemble at Gardens of Memory after the visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Grandview Baptist Church Building Fund, 1940 S. Oates St. Suite 2, Dothan, Al. 36301.
Mrs. Evett was born July 5, 1926 to Ben and Jessie Ledbetter Brown in Hollywood, Al. She was a member at Grandview Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William James Evett and her parents. Mrs. Evett is survived by her sons, Stephen Evett and his wife Deborah of Tallahassee, Fl., Stan Evett and his wife Traci of Dallas, Ga., her sister, Lucille Byrd of Scottsboro, Al., a brother Rob Brown of Galveston, Tx., and two grandchildren, Mathew and Christopher Evett.
