Mrs. Charlie Hudson Scarbrough of Dothan died Wednesday evening, Sept. 12, 2007, at her residence. She was 73.
Funeral services will be Saturday in the chapel at First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Dr. Johnny Fain Officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Scarbrough was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Covington County to Henry Hubert and Jessie Mae Grimes Hudson. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Scarbrough graduated from Auburn University in 1954, and worked for 46 years as the Director of Pharmacy at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was an avid Auburn football fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wallace Neel Scarbrough.
Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her daughters, Cindy Stewart and her husband Kent of Pensacola, Fla., and Susan Scarbrough of Dothan; a brother, Hasel (Dean) Hudson of Dade City, Fla.; two grandchildren, Laurel Elizabeth Stewart and Troy Neel Stewart, also seven grand-dogs.
Serving as pallbearers will be Philip Atkinson, Charles Dalton, Kim Hughes, Frank Chesser, Kevin Owens and Bill Roberts.
The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice, Southeast Alabama Medical Center Pharmacy and hospital management.
