Mrs. Mable Henderson Hunter of Ashford, went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 10, 2007. She was 83.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain John Withrock officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Hunter was born April 28, 1924 in Houston County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Willie Henderson and Rachel Odom Henderson. She was a devoted and loving mother. Her family was her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hunter, and daughter, Judy Tyler.
Survivors include: daughter, Vickie Hunter of Ashford; son, Randy Hunter and his wife, Patricia of Columbia; two grandchildren, Glenn Tyler and Bobby Tyler of Valdosta, Georgia; one great-grandchild, Hunter Tyler, several nieces and nephews, and special friends.
