Mrs. Karen Ann Shaw McKinley of Dothan died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Flowers Hospital. She was 64.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. McKinley was born March 5, 1943 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy Shaw and Jane Ann Green Shaw. She was a member of Cloverdale Methodist Church. She was a loving wife of 45 years, the best mom to 3 children, and most awesome grandmother to 6 grandchildren. She always saw the joy of small things in life. She loved cooking and gardening.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Aimee Reinker.
Survivors include: husband, Don McKinley, Dothan; daughters, Kim Farris and her husband, Marty of Holt, Florida; Shawn Jager and her husband, Pete of Ft. Thomas, KY.; son, Jeff McKinley and his wife, Suzanne of Sommerville, Ohio, sister, Susie Reinker and her husband, Ron of Napels, Florida; brothers, Richard Shaw and his wife, Linda of Gnadenhutten; Mike Shaw and his wife, Maura of New Philadelphia, Ohio; grandchildren, Brittany Farris, Alexa Farris, Colton Farris, Sydney Jager, Jack Jager, Andrew McKinley.
