Ms. Brenda Flakes Taylor of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Dothan, passed Thursday, Aug. 29, 2007, in Ohio. She was 55 and of the baptist faith.
Funeral service will be Saturday in New Mount Zion Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Reposing will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Scotts Chapel Hill Mortuary, 103 West Southport Street.
She is survived by her husband Freddie E. Taylor; a daugther, Kalandra Finch and son-in-law, Ronald Finch; two grandsons, Nathaniel Julian Finch, all of New Jersey; two brothers, Ronnie Flakes Sr. of Alabama, Timothy Flakes of New Jersey.
Scotts Chapel Hill Mortuary, (334) 677-7200, is in charge of arrangements.
