Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La., Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at 7 p.m. A graveside service for Ms. Holloway will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ozark with the Rev. David Parrish officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Alesia was a native of Ozark and a resident of the New Orleans area for 25 years. She was a member of the Belle Chase Baptist Church. Alesia was a graduate of Carroll High School in 1979 and worked as a loan officer in the mortgage industry for 25 years.
Alesia was the beloved fiancé of Matt Ledet, the beloved daughter of Earlene Holloway and the late James W. Holloway Sr.; and the beloved sister of Chuck Holloway and wife, Melanie; Randall Holloway, and wife, Kristy; Cynthia Holloway and the late Ronald Holloway; seven nieces and nephews, Zachary Holloway, Taylor Holloway, Jessica Holloway, Ashlynn Holloway, Brooke Champagne and husband, Troy, Kristi Hernandez and husband Jason, Aaron Waddington and wife Ashley. Three great-nieces and three great-nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, donations to be made in her memory to the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, 1869 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072, (504) 349-5111.
