Mr. Darrell Lee Schroeder, a resident of Dothan, died Friday evening in Pinckard at the home of a close friend. He was 58.
Mr. Schroeder was born on March 15, 1949, in Glendale, Calif., the son of Gene Schroeder and the late Mary Dupree Schroeder. He owned and operated Green Stations Pain and Body Shop in Napier Field. Mr. Schroeder was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church, The Birmingham Street Rod Organization, and the SEACT Productions. He was a 1968 graduate of Dothan High School and a 1971 graduate of Montevallo University. Mr. Schroeder loved sailing, scuba diving and most of all he loved playing the guitar with his dad.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Schroeder, and wife, Melinda Schroeder.
Survivors include his father, Gene Schroeder, Dothan, and a number of cousins and friends.
Mr. Schroeder wished to be cremated with no type of services to be held.
