Mr. Harold Tindol of Hwy. 51 in New Brockton passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at the family residence. He was 74.
Funeral services will be Thursday in El Bethel Assembly of God Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Tabernacle Cemetery. The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the El Bethel Assembly of God building fund, 11629 Hwy. 51, New Brockton, AL 36351.
Mr. Tindol was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Bartow, Fla., to the late Dewey and Mary Irene Holt Tindol. He was a member of the El Bethel Assembly of God Church and was writing a book in theology, which is being edited and soon to be published. He had traveled in all 50 of the United States.
In addition to his parents, a brother, Lamax Tindol, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Dot Tindol of New Brockton; one daughter, Kaye Burns (Laine) of Birmingham; two sons, Mark Tindol of New Brockton and Neal Tindol (Bethany) of Enterprise; grandchildren, Brooke Hughes (Scott) of Clarksville, Tenn., Stephanie Thompson (Ben) of Enterprise, Amy Tindol of Montgomery, Derek Tindol of Athens, Ga., and Claire Eady; great-grandchildren, Zach and Kade Hughes and Katherine, Olivia and Ethan Thompson.
