Mr. Rex Garrard Brock of Dothan died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his residence. He was 79.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jerry Harden and Dorman Jenkins officiating. The funeral service will conclude at the funeral home.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2007, one hour prior to service. Contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
Mr. Brock was born August 5, 1928 in Graceville, Florida, the son of the Mr. and Mrs. Macon Callaster Brock. He loved his family, had a good sense of humor, and quoted his own poems and rhymes to his family.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Brock of Dothan; sons, Bruce Brock and his wife, Kaye Murray Brock of Abbeville; Mark Brock of Dothan; sister, Gloria Mills of Chatsworth, Ga.; brother, Chester Brock of Graceville, Fl.; two grandchildren, Kristen Brock and Tara Bradford, three great-grandchildren, Caroline Bradford, Eian Coachman, and Ethan Coachman.
