Mr. Roosevelt Sistrunk

Bro. Roosevelt Sistrunk departed this system on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in Flowers Hospital Dothan following a short Illness. He was 75.
Funeral services will be Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Ozark at 11 a.m. with Bro. Curtis Laux officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
Bro. Sistrunk was born in Dale County on Nov. 20, 1931. He was baptized on Nov. 12, 1971, as one of Jehovahs Witnesses. He served as a ministerial servant in the Ozark Congregation until his death.
Survivors included his wife Lucy Sistrunk of California; three sons, Raymond Sistrunk and Marvin Sistrunk, both of California, and Keith Sistrunk of Georgia; one daughter, Francine Sistrunk of California; three brothers, Clemmie (Mary) Sistrunk of Fort Wayne, Ind.; K.L. (Jewel) Sistrunk and Eddie (Delores) Sistrunk, all of Ozark; four sisters, Annette Lawrence of Gary, Ind., Louise Leonard and Grace (Jimmie) Knight, all of Ozark; Everee Sistrunk of Memphis, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
