Memorial services for Mr. Joe Bobby Pugh of Dadeville will be Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church of Camp Hill. The Rev. Steven King will officiate.
Mr. Pugh who died Friday, Aug. 3 at his residence in Dadeville was born Jan. 9, 1935. He was 72.
Mr. Pugh was a selfless, caring and loving uncle and friend to many. He attended Sardis Baptist Church of Camp Hill. He was also a member of the armed forces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Cassie Pugh; sisters, Oriel Pugh, Eunice Johnson and brother, Herbert Pugh.
He is survived by his nieces, Cassie Deanne Messer (Mark) of Moulton, Melissa Faith Burdell (Alex) of Opelika, Christae Marie Harper of Evansville, Ind., Sandra Paulk of Dothan and Haley Paulk of Dothan; great-great nieces and nephews, Preston Messer, Kelton Messer, Treyton Messer, all of Moulton, Lexie Burdell, Jackson Drew Burdell and Tyler Burdell, all of Opelika, Coree Harper, Cody Harper, Chelby Harper and Chloe Herron, all of Evansville; long life time friend, Patsy Brown of Dadeville as well as many other friends.
