Billy Whitehead, a resident of the Browns Crossroads community in Henry County, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, August 4, 2007, at his home. He was 78.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today with Rev. Ray S. Reiley and Rev.Dave Collins officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will be in the Union Free Will Baptist Cemetery, near Abbeville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Union Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Carol Ethridge, 116 Park Drive, Abbeville, Al. 36310.
Holman-Headland Mortuary, (334) 693-3371, is in charge of arrangements.
