Jesse Edward Pinner, Sr., 76, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Aug. 5, 2007. He was born in McClellanville, S.C., on July 7, 1931.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday at Mary Esther United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Winton officiating. A visiting hour will precede from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall at Mary Esther United Methodist Church.
Donations can be made to the Mary Esther United Methodist Church Building in Jesses memory.

Mr. Pinner was born in McClellanville, S.C., on July 7, 1931. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, from which he retired with distinguished service in Korea, Germany and Vietnam. He was a member of the Mary Esther United Methodist Church, where he had served as Missions Chairman, Usher and on the Administrative Council.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Cynthia, of Fort Walton Beach; daughter, Ruth V. Solomon and Husband, Mitchell, of Fort Walton Beach; son, Jesse Edward Pinner, Jr., and wife, April, of Tallahassee; stepson, Matthew M. Gildner of Winston-Salem, N.C.; adopted daughter, Victoria Summer Pinner of Fort Walton Beach; seven grandchildren, Mitchell, Joshua and Sarah Solomon; Ashlynn and Grant Thomas Pinner, Rowan and Jade Gildner; and three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Justin and Brody Solomon.
