Robert Dale Goss of Cowarts passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007, after a brief illness at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. He was 42.
Funeral services will be Friday in the Chapel of Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home of Dothan at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Bo Weed and Andrew Knick officiating. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Dothan. Other than scheduled visitation times the family will gather at the residence of Mr. Gosss mother, Joan Goss, 560 Barfield Road in Cowarts.
Robert was born on July 9, 1965, in Prattville. He graduated in 1983 from Ashford High School. During the latter part of high school and since graduation Robert was employed with Piccadilly Cafeteria in Wiregrass Commons Mall. He began working there in 1981. Robert was of the Baptist Faith. He will always be remembered as an avid Alabama football fan and loved watching movies of all kinds.
He is survived by parents, Robert Leon Goss and Joan Rawlinson Goss of Cowarts; one brother, Chris Goss and wife (Brandi) of Ashford; three nieces always loved as his own, Aleigha, Ashleigh and Alizabeth Goss; special friends, Michael and Olivia Jones, Judy and Tony Sevic, Lori and Randy Heirs, and Hope and Rocky Moon and Sharon Lunseth; numerous friends and extended family
Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Piccadilly Cafeterias in Dothan. The service will conclude at the funeral home.
Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home in Dothan, (334) 793-1117, is in charge of arrangements.
