Donald Ray "Buddy" Wilkinson of Ozark died Friday, July 13, 2007, in Mobile. He was 59.
Funeral services will be Thursday in Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jack Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Elamville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel.
Mr. Wilkinson was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Dale County son of the late Benny and Minnie Leanord Wilkinson. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed R.C. Cola and Moon Pies.
He is predeceased by one sister, Eulala Fuqua.
Survivors include one son, James Ray Wilkinson of Columbus, Ga.; three sisters, Lallie Marie Herring of Dothan; Vallie Mae Beggs of Eustis, Fla., Velma Wilson of Pocahontas, Ariz.; four brothers, Noel and Frances Wilkinson, Marrell and Willene Wilkerson and Frank Wilkerson, all of Ozark, Jim "Skeets" and Rosie Wilkinson of Eustis.
Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark, (334) 774-4551, is in charge of arrangements.
