Bobbie Joyce Harrison Spitler of Alexander City passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Russell Medical Center. She was 67.
Funeral services for Mrs. Spitler will be today in Equality Methodist Church at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harrison Spitler, her son, and the Rev. Bobby McGraw, her grandson, will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Spitler was a resident of Parker Island on Lake Martin for 33 years and had been a resident in Alexander City for two years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gordon Spitler; and daughter, Susie Spitler.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Lambert (Tommy) of Titus; son, Harrison Spitler (Sandy) of Waxhaw, N.C.; stepdaughters, Nancy McGraw (Larry) of Olive Branch, Miss., and Sue Spitler of Michigan City, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Harrison (Amalia) of Montgomery and John Harrison (Gloria) of San Francisco; sister, Betty Jo Kennedy (Bill) of Enterprise; and very special friend, Lynda McGuire of Alexander City.
