Mrs. Joyce Ann McCraney of Ashford passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at home. She was 61.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, July 12, 2007 at New Beginnings Church in Ashford with Reverend Stan Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 11, 2007. At other times, the family will be gathered at 84 Enon Road, Ashford, Alabama.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and nanny to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Nanny enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Fannie McKeller, two sisters, Patricia Etheridge and Charlotte Poole, all of Ashford; two very special angels, Peyton Pytlewicz, and Jeffery Richards.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 42 years, Randall McCraney of Ashford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Tim Daugherty of Ashford; Daniel and Sonja Fayard of Enterprise; eight grandchildren, Hannah McCraney, Heather Daugherty, Aaron Daugherty, of Ashford; Alexis Dickerson, Casey Fayard, Madeline Fayard, of Enterprise; Megan Pytlewicz, Blaine Pytlewicz, of Ashford; two sisters, Debra(Ranny) Long of Echo; Michell Cook of Brandenton, Florida; a very special nephew and niece, David and Marquita Pytlewicz, several nieces and nephews who
were just like her own.
