E.A. (Moose) Hope of Enterprise, Ala., passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 85.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at First Baptist Church with Dr. G. Lance Hogan and the Rev. Fox Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. Mr. Hope will be taken to the church one hour before service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2007.
Mr. Hope was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Alta Hope, and a sister, Beulah.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jenelle Hope; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Hope and Bill Hope all of Enterprise; four grandchildren, Billy (Nikki) Hope, Enterprise, Justin Hope, Enterprise, Adam (Beth) Fulton, Chattanooga, Tenn., Mandi Stephenson, Troy, Ala.; two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jackie Robinette, Hal Carrington, Max Watkins, Buck Hanson, Richard Pipkin and Ricky Snellgrove.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jack Thomas, Dr. John Lester, Billy Murdock and Richard Fleming.
Searcy Funeral Home in Enterprise, (334) 347-2517, is in charge of arrangements.
