Edna H. Ball of Cowarts passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ball will be Sunday in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church 234 Olaff Road, Dothan, AL 36301.
Mrs. Ball was born in Houston county to Charlie and Pouncie Brackin Harrell. She was a lifelong resident of Houston County and a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ball is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Jeannie Burke and husband James of Slidell, La., Sherry Thomley of Cowarts; three grandchildren, Scott Thomley, Todd Thomley, Brandi Spiers and husband Duane; four great-grandchildren, Dustin Thomley, Seth Thomley, Jacob and Brooke Spiers; sisters, Ethel Holland, Betty Jo Galloway and husband Lamon; brother, Houston Harrell; nephews, Foy Holland and wife Diane, Ricky Harrell and wife Suzanne; nieces Deborah Coker and husband Tim, Sandra Galloway; one special sister in law, Micki Ball; special friend, Billie Deese and loving pet, Lacy.
