Mr. Posey Clark Broxson, a resident of the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama and formerly of Enterprise, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Auburn. He was 89.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday from the Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Duhaime officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1 pm and continuing until service time.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in memory of Mr. Broxson to the Bethany House, 1171 Gatewood Dr, Building 100, Auburn, AL 36830.
Mr. Broxson was born in Bristol, FL to the late James and Clemmie Moseley Broxson. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as well as Civil Service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hawkinsville, Ga. His wife, Pauline “Polly” Broxson preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Candy Bell and her husband James, Auburn, AL; 2 grandchildren, Dave and Brock Bell, both of Birmingham, AL; several nieces and nephews.
