Dr. Willie R. Harris of Troy, AL passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 at Troy Health and Rehab. He was 76.
Graveside funeral services will be Monday, June 18 at 4:30 pm from the Green Hills Chapel Mausoleum in Troy, AL with Rev. James T. Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the Mausoleum beginning at 3:30 pm and continuing until service time.
Dr. Harris was born in Monroe, LA to the late Russell S. and Ann Boggs Harris. He attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock School of Medicine and worked at GP England Hospital for 40 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in England, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell S. Harris and Avis Boggs Harris, as well as his wife, Lucille Harris.
