Mr. Louis Milton Butt, Jr. of Hwy. 51, New Brockton, AL passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at his residence. He was 73.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Friday, June 15 from the El Bethel Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in the Old Tabernacle Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 until 8 pm.
Mr. Butt was born in Oxon Hill, MD to the late Louis Milton Butt, Sr. and Marjorie Dennison Butt. He was retired from the United States Army and from the Alabama Department of Revenue as an auditor. He had volunteered for 10 years with the Assembly of God Maps RV building churches.
Survivors include his wife, Vernell Butt, New Brockton; 4 daughters, Keri Hornsby (Matt), Mobile, AL, Kathleen Spooner (Bob), Lithia, FL, Sharon Henderson (Dennis), Scottsdale, AZ, Lisa Campbell, Leesburg, FL; 3 sons, Andy Butt, New Brockton, Tim Butt (Michelle), Orlando, FL, Pat Butt, Hudson, FL; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 brother, Thomas Butler (Carolyn), Osprey, FL; 2 sisters, Roberta Ann Raley (Jim), Vienna, VA, Marjorie Joan Wrublick, Westminster, MD; several nieces and nephews.
