The City of Dothan Police are asking for your help in solving a murder that happened around 3:00 a. m. Sunday morning.
Police Chief John Powell held a press conference yesterday afternoon, pleading with anyone with any information regarding the case to contact crimestoppers.
The murder happened at a house on East Newton Street.
Alonza Anthony Nickson was shot to death at his home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Another man, Gary White was injured in the altercation, but not seriously hurt. After the suspect shot the two victims, he fled the scene on foot.
Police are investigating leads and are asking for any information regarding the weekend murder.
Police need your help in identifying a suspect who has been described as a black male in his mid 20`s, five feet seven inches tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs.
Crimestoppers will pay a reward up to one thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest of this suspect.
