THERE WILL BE NO CAMERAS AT INTERSECTIONS...AT LEAST NOT NOW

Alabama lawmakers put the brakes on a Bill to put cameras at busy intersections in order to catch drivers who run red lights. That Bill has been thrown out of this legislative session. Alabama lawmakers say it would have invaded the privacy of drivers, and may not have taken accurate photographs of drivers who speed through red lights. Most drivers that WDHN interviewed have mixed feelings over the Bill. The tickets issued from red light camera`s always go to the registered vehicle owner, whether that person was driving or not. Ten other states have already started using these automated cameras.
