"Flying J" isn`t flying well with the City of Dothan, and now "Flying J" has sued the Planning Commission. The City Comission along with the Planning Commission rejected the Utah based company`s plans for a truck stop at 231 and Ross Clark Circle. Now a Judge has ordered the Planning Commission to reverse the decision, or plan on taking the matter up in court. Planning Director David Hendrix wouldn`t comment to WDHN on camera and when asked, the mayor didn`t have much to say either. Last month, the City Planning Commission denied "Flying J" a permit to build on the edge of Cloverdale, and the City Commission voted not to override the Planning Commission. The response from "Flying J`s" local counsel Wade Baxley, was, "we`ll see you in court."
