CITY OF DOTHAN CRACKING DOWN ON UNLICENSED TREE TRIMMERS

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The city of Dothan is cracking down on people scamming seniors and unsuspected residents by offering to trim their trees. In the wake of the bad weather, people are cutting trees and getting rid of debris, but they are only supposed to do so with a licensed contractor. Unlicensed tree trimmers come from around the state and beyond state lines, trying to make a quick buck. If you would like to verify your trimming services license, or get a list of licensed tree services, you can call the city of Dothan at 615-3165.
