WATER CONSERVATION FOR CITY OF DOTHAN

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The beginning of April didn`t just usher in the Daylight Savings time change, but it was also the beginning of water conservation for the City of Dothan. People who have odd street numbers may operate sprinklers to water their lawn on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Those who have even street numbers may water their lawns on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There will be no watering on Monday in order for the water system to recover. This conservation is a response to extreme droughts, and the city crews will be enforcing the ordinance. Commercial nurseries are exempt, and if your lawn has been newly sodded, you can file for an exemption at the Utilities Department.
