The Shamrock Club of The Progressive City, conducts this event each year for citizens with Irish ancestry, but all are encouraged to take part in the parade. Millions of Americans trace their ancestry back to Ireland, and advertise their ties by wearing their green on St. Patricks Day, March 17th. There are 34 million U.
