HOLLYWOOD ICON, JOHHNY CARSON DEATH

Hollywood remains in mourning over the death of America`s late night legend, Johnny Carson, who died Sunday of emphysema. Carson was a nightly visitor in millions of American homes during his 30 years as host of the "Tonight Show". Carson began his show business career as a magician and a ventriloquist when he was still in his teens. Carson was host of the "Tonight Show" from October 1, 1962 to May 22nd of 1992, before handing off to Jay Leno after 4,531 episodes. Johnny Carson was 79 years old.
