"Tonight Show" legend Johnny Carson is being fondly remembered by those whose careers he helped launch. The comedic legend died yesterday at the age of 79. Carson, a longtime smoker, had announced in 2002 that he was suffering from emphysema, usually caused by smoking. Carson kept a low profile after retirement in 1992. David Letterman, host of CBS` "The Late Show said, "He has been greatly missed since his retirement...thank God for videotapes and DVDs. In this regard, he`ll always be around." He was the best...a star and a gentleman...he will be greatly missed."
