Yet another sex offender got his day in a Houston County Courtroom yesterday. Thomas Bradley Deering is accused of raping a six year-old girl. Houston County D. A. Doug Valeska told the jury that Derring went into the childs bedroom on June 9, 2004, and raped her. The girl`s parents are relatives of Derring`s mother, and took him out of state into their home to help get him away from a bad enviornment, and gave him a summer job. Valeska pointed out that, "He repaid that trust by raping their daughter." Judge Lawson Little expects the trial to be over today. Watch WDHN News at 5, 6 & 10 today for the outcome of this trial.
